The Alma Chamber Orchestra with its new formation of 43 musicians will bring for the first time young and brilliant conductor, Lionel Bringuier, who directed prestigious orchestras throughout the world, and soloist Nicolaj Znaider, one of the most talented violinists of his generation. The young orchestra, with Anne Gravoin as artistic director, is composed of great musicians from the greatest French orchestras and instrumentalists pursuing careers in chamber music all over the world. The Alma Chamber Orchestra has chosen Abu Dhabi for its premiere in the Middle East as this city represents the capital of the Arab culture.
The concert taking place in the Emirates Palace is an honor as it embodies the cultural heritage that his Highness Sheikh Zayed has successfully conveyed.
The Alma Chamber Orchestra will perform a unique concert at the Emirates Palace Auditorium on April 15th 2014, in which will be played Wael Binali’s « Earth », Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Violin n°2 and Beethoven’s Symphony n°7.
